Triple-pane European windows engineered for PEI, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick coastal climates. Low-e coatings, argon fills, warm-edge spacers, and frame U-values that outperform code requirements by 30–50%.
Atlantic Canada winters plus coastal moisture put harsh demands on window systems. Our European supply partners design for Northern European climates that are comparable or harsher — the products transfer directly.
Triple-glazed IGU standard: Not optional. Triple glazing delivers U-values of 0.14–0.18 (W/m²·K) range — roughly half the heat loss of a standard Canadian double-glazed window.
Warm-edge spacers: No metal spacers between panes. Eliminates the cold-edge perimeter that causes winter condensation on the inside of double-pane Canadian windows.
Argon or krypton gas fill: Premium units can be specified with krypton for maximum thermal performance at thin panel depths.
Tilt-and-turn hardware: European-standard two-mode opening: tilts in from top for secure trickle ventilation, or opens fully for egress and easy cleaning.
Solid or composite frames: Wood, aluminum-clad wood, solid PVC, or composite — all with frame U-values matched to the glazing package.

Specified for Maritime conditions
Salt-spray tested Hardware and gaskets rated for continuous coastal exposure. Every VY Build window is appropriate for oceanfront and within-sight-of-ocean installations.
Triple glazing for condensation control Maritime winters combine low outdoor temperatures with high ambient humidity — the exact conditions that cause condensation on lesser-performing windows.
Fits Atlantic-Canada rough openings We supply metric-dimensioned windows with North American standard rough-opening conversions. Our Installation Guides resource covers the typical install details for framed wall assemblies.
Frequently asked
Are these windows ENERGY STAR rated?
Our default triple-glazed units exceed ENERGY STAR thresholds for Canada Zone 3 (the most demanding zone, which includes most of Atlantic Canada and the Prairies).
Custom sizes?
Yes. Our supply partners manufacture to millimeter-precise custom sizes at no significant premium over standard sizes. Typical lead time: 6–9 weeks ex-Europe, 1–2 weeks final delivery within Atlantic Canada once stock lands.
Do you supply installation labor?
No. We supply windows and doors. We have a network of Trade Account contractors who install in PEI/NS/NB if you need a referral.
Are the frames impact-rated?
Standard frames are not hurricane-impact rated. For projects requiring impact-rated hardware, we can source specialty glazing packages — mention it in your quote request.
