Engineering Details
Multi-chamber PVC profile
Multi-chambered profile design optimizes thermal performance and air-tightness. More chambers = better insulation and structural stability.
Triple glazing capable
Engineered to accept triple-pane insulating glass units. Combined with warm-edge spacer technology, achieves industry-leading Uw values.
SoftLine 3-gasket sealing
Triple gasket system (frame, mid-seal, sash) blocks air infiltration, water ingress, and noise transmission. Tested to extreme weather standards.
Galvanized steel reinforcement
Internal steel reinforcement maintains rigidity over the window’s lifetime. Resists sash droop and seasonal thermal expansion.
Maco / Roto hardware
German-engineered tilt-and-turn hardware. Multi-point locking, anti-lift protection, smooth operation tested to 25,000+ cycles.
40+ color/finish options
SoftLine veneer foils: standard whites, woodgrain laminates (Golden Oak, Mahogany, Walnut), structural anthracite, RAL custom paints. Same finish inside and out, or contrasting.
IGLO EDGE in real homes
Why IGLO EDGE?
IGLO EDGE is the right choice when the architectural target is a contemporary sharp-edge aesthetic and the energy brief calls for the best PVC performance Drutex makes. The 7-chamber 84 mm profile + triple glazing combination achieves Uw 0.55 W/m²K — comparable to wood-aluminium hybrids but at PVC pricing. Sharp orthogonal corners and clean sightlines pair particularly well with modernist architecture, minimalist interior trim, and the metal-roofing profiles already in our catalog.
