R32 air-source heat pumps engineered for Atlantic winters. Premium European units with up to 5-ton capacity, inverter technology, and cold-climate performance down to -25°C. Supplied to contractors and developers across PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
Designed for the realities of an Atlantic climate — rated for continuous heating at -25°C ambient, with refrigerant-agnostic designs that meet the newest Canadian energy-efficiency codes.
R32 refrigerant: Lower global-warming-potential than R410A, aligned with phase-out schedules under the Kigali amendment.
Cold-climate rated: HSPF ≥ 10, continuous heating performance down to -25°C without auxiliary electric strip heat.
Inverter-driven compressor: Variable-speed operation for 30–40% lower runtime energy consumption vs. single-stage.
Quiet-mode operation: Outdoor units rated below 52 dB on low speed — suitable for close-lot suburban installs.
NET-30 trade pricing available: Contractor and developer accounts get volume pricing and terms via our Trade Account program.

Frequently asked
What refrigerant do your units use?
All current-generation VY Build heat pumps use R32, which has roughly one-third the global-warming potential of R410A and aligns with the 2024+ federal phase-out schedule.
Are these units eligible for federal or provincial rebates?
Most residential Atlantic Canada rebate programs require ENERGY STAR Cold Climate certification and a minimum HSPF threshold. Our lineup meets both. We supply the documentation contractors need to file rebates on behalf of homeowners. Rebate specifics change by province — confirm the current Greener Homes or provincial program with your utility.
Do you install, or only supply?
We are a supplier. We sell to HVAC contractors, general contractors, and developers. We do not perform installations. If you need an installer referral, our Trade Account contractors cover most of Atlantic Canada.
What are typical lead times?
3–7 business days for stocked capacity bands to most Atlantic Canada destinations. Custom multi-zone configurations or 5-ton ducted systems may need 2–3 weeks.
